Lyrics:
Let me say
Since, since we've been together
Uh, loving you forever is all I need
Let me be the one you come running to
I'll never be untrue
Oh, baby, let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
I, I'm so in love with you
Whatever you want to do
It's alright with me
'Cause you make me feel so brand new
I want to spend my whole life with you
Let me say
Since, since we've been together
Uh, loving you forever is all I need
Let me be the one you come running to
I'll never be untrue
Oh, baby, let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
(Good or bad, happy or sad)
Why, oh, tell me, why do people break up
And turn around and make up?
I just came to see
You'd never do that to me, would you, baby?
Being around you is all I see
So, baby, let's we all stay together
Loving you whether
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
Let's (let's stay together) stay together
Loving you whether
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
(Let's stay together) stay together
Loving you whether
Whether (times are good or bad, happy or sad)
Oh, baby, let's
Let's
Loving you whether
Whether (times are good or bad, happy or sad)

RIP Tina Turner! You made this version of Let’s Stay Together magical and powerful for me! 💐💐💐
-
This was my favorite "last dance" song played in clubs I frequented in the 80's. Good night, Tina.
-
She slayed this song!! Love Al Green’s original but this right here… wow!!!
-
She actually sang her ass off. True talent.
-
What a voice, what a performer, what a life. RIP Tina. ❤
-
This was my wedding song in 1985. The marriage didn't go the distance but this song certainly has!
-
This is the moment where Tina Turner the singer who had been forgotten by the public rose from the ashes and became a MEGA STAR❤❤❤❤

Her vocal range is second to none the GOAT 🐐 REST IN HEAVEN TINA
-
Saw her sing this live in ‘87. Wow!!!! She’s an incredible vocalist!! Lifelong Tina Turner fan here… loved her since the early 70’s.
-
I love both versions of this song both Tina and Al Green.
-
This was her first single with Capital Records. It's "surprise" success is what marked the beginning of the real big time for Tina as a solo performer. It gained her the confidence of Capital for them to green light an album which turned out to be "Private Dancer", which in turn propelled her to super stardom.

My favorite version!! Chills and goosebumps. The arrangement is spectacular. This is when she came out solo. They realized after, she never needed back up anything! I loved her original nose. Why did she fall pray to wanting a tiny nose? She was beautiful! Shame she didn’t realize it! Love you Tina!

Descanse em Paz Tina Turner 😢

Her comeback hit back in 1983, I was in London and they kept playing this hit all over the radio. I'll never forget it. Didn't hit the American soil til 1984. Truly admire this lady for her survival and how she endured. Truly inspiring, you can start, re-start, re-re-start your career at any point in your life. Hail the Queen of Rock
-
Even the man himself Al green said this is the best version of this song and he is right ! The queen God that is Tina truly is simply the best at this song
-
God, how I adore this song and video. This was my first introduction to Tina as a young teenager, and it shines as brightly now as it did all those decades ago. Unforgettable in every way.❤️
