The start of a big project! We're installing an ecological zero waste septic system and I'm so excited to have found this system through Premier Tech Water and Environment. If you like to check it out, this is my system: www.premiertechaqua.com/pt-pt/tratamento-aguas-res…

  • Make a path down to the creek with the rocks. And define some garden beds with them. Just an idea.
  • Please make Cobblestone paths through your property with all those beautiful rocks. It would look awesome.
  • @HoneyVoyager
“Now this is a problem, it’s very hard bedrock” … and in she goes with the jackhammer. Nothing’s a problem for Maya

The rocks could be used to make a car path so, when it rains any car can easily go in or out. Also would look great.
  • Congrats on getting a septic system! That looks like a ton of hard work done by all of you. I would use the rocks to "pave" the driveway so future delivery trucks won't get stuck in the mud all the time.

Rocks for "driveway" path entry. Rain will always create a muck problem...
  • The leaves of your orange trees are yellow which indicates Chlorosis, an iron deficiency disease caused by highly alkaline soil. It is worth checking the pH of your soil. Chlorosis shows up as pale green or yellow leaves in new growth and lack of vigour. The problem may be alkaline soil, not the riverside location, although moving the trees to a sunny spot will benefit them (by the way, the best time to move trees is in the winter). This problem can be fixed by applying acidic citrus fertilizer once a year or as needed. I use Nitrosphere Plus, from Vital Garden. it is ecologic. I live in Spain and buy it at Leroy Merlin. A 750 gm box, enough to treat several trees, costs about 7 euros in Spain.
  • Having a functional septic system will really improve your quality of life.

Maya pushing the dump truck up the hill kind of sums her up.
  • @KilianKlein
I think you should try and "terrace" your terrain with the extra soil and rocks, you have a lot of slopes in there, would be nice your your ankles to have flat terrains here and there ;)
  • Maya the rocks may come in handy for your drive entrance and road. Lots to do but another step forward in the build. ❤❤😊😊

Ey Maya! prunes the trees after transplanting them. When they are unplanted, they lose roots so there are leftover leaves. It is a good time for a first training pruning. Greetings from Argentina latam

Hi Maya! The color of the soil is nice and it is good to see your physical strength and endurance. I hope the community will develop slowly, and volunteer helpers will join.
  • @jesper1406
You're an inspiration for a lot of people. I think especially for girls, and that's so great! ❤

Hi Maya. I'm not surprised you didn't do a video last week you must be absolutely exhausted. Well done for keeping going. Once again it will be worth the efforts when it's completed. You had lovely helpers too.
  • @cidie1
Finally a new video! It's crazy how much work she does, when you actually start doing this kind of work yourself you will quickly find that it is exhausting.
  • I hope you get a lot of volunteers this summer. I think you should have a summer party! Relax and celebrate all your successes and invite many others!
  • Hello from Port ELIZABETH! SOUTH AFRICA. Enjoy you so much.😊
