I’m so glad you didn’t go for a sepia/brown color scheme! That does seem to be the color of choice for most reading journal setups I see now, and while I understand why, for those of us who enjoy color, it’s a little monotonous. It’s great to have a setup that uses colorful elements for inspiration!

Hey Erin. I have been reading my whole life. I clock 80 to 100ish books a year. Never thought of starting a reading journal. As a 36 year old woman, mum and wife. It just never appealed to me. Until you! What a joy to reflect and live a little longer in worlds we read. So I just wanted to say thank you. You are my inspiration to start this journey. I refer to my "maybe next" as "in the wings" and plan on writing the name of the book on washi tape in a B6 pencil. The tape allows me to remove it or move it around as needed. My TBR is more a wishlist... it has book recommendations for the most part.
