  • That's why I quit garage sales...had stuff for 25 cents and then they offered 10 cents!
  • A co worker told me once that how ppl kept their cars trashed up was how the inside of their house looked like also!
  • Silas , You should stop reading these comments all together. You are doing the right thing with your yard and your channel. There are to many negative people out there and you should not waste your energy on them. They will start to suck your inner self dry. Keep up the positive vibes you give!!

That tool box in the bed of the truck is an easy sell for $75 or more. I’m not in the area to buy it though. Thanh’s for the videos
  • It would be different if you were running a pick-a-part in addition to your crushing operation, but in your neck of the wood, this doesn’t pencil out. PS - you have a great attitude and a great YouTube channel.

Humorous. I remember when those square bodies were first made and was walking down the sidewalk one day and thinking, "WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MODERN!!!!!!!!!!! " LOL!!!!
  • That was a very fair price you was asking for those parts. And your time is worth something. I don’t think people realize how much it cost to run a business. Exspecialy the business you are in. Another great video. Thanks for taking the time to share with all of us. I hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation. Just love your videos keep them coming.
  • Keep doing what the easiest for you Silas , some people don't respect how hard your job is . Just do what suits the time available that you have . Don't pay too much attention to the whingers , you'll end up as silly as them , keep crushing mate , cheers Aussie Pete
  • Some people have no common sense when it comes to the pricing of parts. I have been very happy with the price of the items I have gotten from you. Look forward to getting back in September for the others we talked about.
  • You go, Silas! You tell 'em! People can be such thieves with regard to other peoples' stuff. People just understand how little time you have to get so much of that stuff done and it takes your labor to remove parts. If someone wants a steal, they should buy a whole car themselves and part it out and see what you go through! I liked the ending with music playing while the video of the cars being loaded was being shown. Hope you have a safe time away and thank you for being YOU!
  • I love it when you can look through the vehicles. I truly understand that you just don't have time to do that with each vehicle but it sure makes you wonder what gets missed. Don't worry about the naysayers, they don't walk a mile in your busy shoes. I so wish I was as smart as the armchair experts! 😄 Glad you and your family got to get some time away. Hope all went well and you had a safe, great time. Love the videos. Stay safe and GOD bless

Wow its amazing how some people can let their cars get so disgustingly filthy and not even seem to worry about it .I don;t blame you for not bothering to go through it .
  • $5 for an alternator and bracket? Just for the heck of it, I looked it up on the LKQ Pick A Part price list. An alternator is $28.34, with a $10 core charge. The customer wanted to pay less than a reasonable core charge for one. They didn't have a price listed for a bracket, so guessing from some other parts, I'd say about $8 for one. This is a self-service place. The customer pays $3 for an entry fee, then gets to hoof it up and down the rows to find what is wanted. The customer gets out the tools, and pulls the part. I hope that you had a great time in Costa Rica.

That Was Still Cool, Just Like Metal Detecting It's Always Fun To Find Anything

Decent looking toolbox in the bed of the square body at the beginning of the vlog.
  • Great video Silas, keep up great job.We are patiently waiting for our next adventure.
  • @JohnnyAFG81
Love your channel! Some people are so cheap they hold quarters so hard they make the eagle scream. Can’t wait till we see those stepside Dodge’s running!
  • Love your work, Silas. Never let the lowballers get to you. Thank you for such entertaining videos, all the way from Ireland 🇮🇪.

I have customers get pissy with me over a diagnostic fee I charge them. Now if I just listen to the car and tell you what's wrong. That will be a freebie. But if I have to pull out any tools, and my $5000.00 scanner. Now I have to get paid. Sure you can go to a parts store, and they will scan your car for free. But they also want to sell you parts that might not fix the problem. Now paying me to scan the car. Well.... I'll tell you what the codes say, what they mean, and how they may co-mingle with each other to pin point a problem that has nothing to do with any of those codes. Something that the parts store can't do. Good work is never cheap, and cheap work is never good. Time is money, and my time is very valuable. Glad to see that you think the same way.
