HOW TO FIX CAR DENTS WITH GLUE.

I hope you enjoy this "step by step" style video...

The damage was caused by a roadside collision as the Golf was parked up, another vehicle had driven too close to it and impacted the rear side creating this very noticeable crease damage.

Our customer really didn’t want to have any paint removed from the damaged area to pull the damage out, any filler or paintwork and had done research on other repair methods such as Paintless Dent Removal and found us online.

He contacted us online and through a number of calls and emails a date was set for the repair. The repair was going to be a “best possible” or a “push to paint” meaning I’d repair it as far as I could but there maybe ripples, areas which wouldn’t fully repair or the paint may come away due to glue pulling this hard!
The repair took around 16 hours to complete starting off with some strong glue pulls along the middle of the main dent, working towards the front of the car, then working back from the other direction to the rear, the rear dent took a good few hours to straighten! And then working towards the front the rest of the damage was carefully lifted out.

This repair was done only by using Hot glue methods or GPR (Glue Pull Repair) using various tools and accessories, and a lot of coffee and patience. I’d say the end results look amazing and as we’d sold this repair as a possible “push to paint” our customer is very happy not to have the side painted at all now…..

I hope you can take away some information from this if your a new dent technician or really interested in the job.
If your a potential customer looking for an accountable technician then I hope you are happy with how we operate, you can see our many repairs and this will give you the peace of mind when booking your repair in. We repair many customers vehicles up and down the country, we are in Beverley and we set aside all the time in the world and look after you if you travel to us.

Paintless Dent Removal or PDR is a method of removing minor dings and dents from the vehicle bodywork without the need for filler and paintwork. This is a highly skilled process in which the dent(s) is massaged from the rear of the panel or sometimes from the front using glue pulling methods.

Top job Martin! Super clean result. I used the Cam Auto glue sticks for the first time yesterday on that deep dented Polo rear arch we spoke about and was super impressed with how well they stuck! I reckon I could have pulled the arch off the car! 😂Joking aside it pulled it out perfectly, so a very happy customer. 😎

Incredible repair Martin! Massive job and excellent result!
  • I learned something today how to get that reverse crease out of the wheel arch. I imagine the theory hold, same for the edge of a door, bring the edge back to the correct level, and then pull away from the crease or the out side crease to straighten out the wheel arch incredible.
  • Great video Martin, lots of detail and good information here and a great repair, it takes dedication to stay on a repair like this until its completed. Awesome...
