Wow, you did such a great job with this "pressed paper furniture". It looks so good with the flowers in front and the nice drawers. Thanks Sabrina for this video.

A word of caution.....a few years ago, I was sanding a piece with my orbital sander. Much like you I was encountering paper and glue that had to come off. Of note, I had not only washed the piece before sanding, I had used a stiff brush because there was so much dirt. As I sanded, layers of paper and glue were coming off fairly easily, but it seemed to be endless. I was working a whitish colored spot when red emerged. All of a sudden, the sander flew to ground, and something brushed my hair as it flew over my head. The sandpaper was stuck to the dresser, and the orbiting pad had pulled off the sander and flown over my head. The recoil of the pad being ripped from the sander is what caused the sander to end up on the floor. When I tried to pick up the sandpaper, I could not pull it from the dresser. I had to chisel the sandpaper off dresser and chisel off a really dense glue/resin material that had melted, attached to the sandpaper, and stopped the orbital sander from orbiting. All this to say, be careful when you are sanding glued material. I was very lucky that flying pad didn't actually hit me in the head and the sander didn't hit me. All I had was a sore wrist. I do love the replacement sander, and I'm much more careful about unexpected substances as I sand.

Great job! I also LOVE the originally look of that dresser! It would’ve been beautiful to redo it just like it was too.

This is quite the transformation! That chest looked like it had a hard life. I really like the colors that you chose and that paper is beautiful. The silver leaf was just the extra touch it needed. Great job! 🙂👍

Wow, what a beautiful transformation. This now looks like a high end piece of furniture. Great job 💖
  • Wow, it looks fantastic!! I especially like what you did to the handles.
  • The result is great, although I wouldn't work on an MDF furniture, but it sure depends on the price you counted for it. Thank you for the video. You are alwyas an inspiration.
