I just recently heard of the passing of the wonderful Buddhist Monk and spiritual teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh. He was a huge inspiration for me, and coincidentally, wrote the book "Fear", which was a partial inspiration for this session. I encourage you to check out his books and teachings. Rest in peace to a wonderful person and teacher.❤

This has been a challenging meditation for me and therefore very powerful, in that I had to work hard at not pushing back on embracing my fear and anxiety. Having MS means that I live with the worry of increasing physical and cognitive disability. This is a degenerative disease for which there is no cure and I will see deterioration. So, it was a huge hurdle to leap to actually welcome the fear/anxiety; but I managed it and was able to genuinely experience the sense of setting it aside. This is why I liked your inclusion of ‘at least for now’ because it is a part of my reality! The bonus occurred when I was in the present moment listening to the music: I heard words from one of your previous meditations: ‘there is joy in simply being’ Once again thanks for enriching and facilitating aspects of my life.

  • Rest in peace Thich Nhat Hanh. Amazing spiritual leader. Thank you for this video on fear. Fear and anxiety and so easily becomes all consuming and often manifesting in physical ailments or reactions. The longer we let it stay, the more it becomes a part of us. Practicing your video consistently, as you so gently guide us through will help us reach a calmer and more peaceful space. Thank you for all of your videos and your soothing voice.

I am so glad I came across this page. I don't always need it, but I've been really struggling these last few months and have been trying to do whatever I can to break it. Listening to the few videos I have has been helpful. Thank you so much for taking that step to help us. ❤
