Even though MBK is one of the oldest shopping centers in Bangkok you can still get a lot of bang for the Baht. I found pricing there to be as cheap as if not cheaper than a lot of the local street markets. This was after being in Bangkok for the month of April and part of May. I even notated that for those of us who are fuller figured American males, (meaning at least a 2xl T-shirt) clothes that will fit us can be located on the 5th and 6th floor of this mall. I reference this because Thai sizes are not the same as American sizes. They do tend to be a tad bit smaller. Oh yes, by the way nice video as usual.

Not all are fake. As a Thai person. We can differentiate. Which shops sell replica or authentic products. 0.19 - Real (Olympus cameras) 0.35 - Fake ( Fila) 1.53 - Real ( Marco Polo glasses) 3.27 - Real ( Sony Cameras) 3.40 - Real ( Converse Shoes) 4.35 - Fake ( T-shirts) For example if it's an promotional events selling cameras in a hallway. It's real. Or some shops they do sell only authentic brands such as Nike, Converse, Scholl. But you have to bear in mind that it's unlikely for them to sell Sholl replica because it's not luxury item. Again if you not sure just go buy from other shopping center nearby like paragon which sells only authentic products.

Counterfeiting is not a bad thing after all, and as far as local economies in much of the developing world are concerned, there are plenty of job opportunities that employ people who would otherwise have been out of job to make a decent living under the increasingly difficult business environment at all times. You may end up being own boss some day by running business that supplies merchandise of these counterfeited brands!

MBK is amazing. In January my Samsung phone battery failed as I was flying into Bangkok, what a nightmare. The next day I took the Skytrain to MBK (National Stadium station). The Samsung Service Center on the 5th floor confirmed my battery had failed but didn't have a replacement because it wasn't a Thai phone. They said I'd have to get an aftermarket replacement from a shop on the 4th floor. Which shop? Any shop. I went to the 4th floor and there must have been 100 shops to choose from. In 45 minutes my phone had a new battery.
