i normally start showers at a little bit hotter than luke warm, but typically towards the end of my shower i turn it all the way cold and it just seems to make me feel better, maybe one day ill get to all the way cold starting at, but for now ill enjoy my hot and cold showers.

Personally for showers, I start hot, then I realize that I am burning to death, so I go to lukewarm (yes, we exist) and then for my final rinse I go to as cold as I can withstand

I started taking cold showers a few months ago. I eased into it by slowly turning it colder as the shower went on. I now can start the shower all the way cold. I must say however every single shower the first few seconds are miserable, but in a little bit it is perfectly comfortable. I started showering cold because I heard there were a lot of health benefits. I can't really tell if it is making a difference but at least the water bill has gone down.
