"5 Weddings" is a charming and touching comedy-drama that tells the story of an American journalist who travels to India to cover lavish Bollywood weddings. The task, which at first seems routine, turns into an exciting journey full of cultural clashes, unexpected discoveries and personal transformations. Rebecca, the main character, arrives in India to write an article about five different weddings, each of which has its own unique story and flavor. She dives headlong into the world of bright traditions, fun and emotions that accompany Indian wedding ceremonies. Her expectations are quickly shattered as she faces a series of challenges and unforeseen situations. Among various wedding events, Rebecca meets people with different views on life, love and family. She discovers the existence of the Hijra transgender community, who often participate in wedding ceremonies, and learns about their complexities and struggles for acceptance. These meetings force her to reconsider her own prejudices and stereotypes.

Charming movie but it really didn’t seem to be a love story until the very end. The leading lady, sorry to say, was not a very good actress. The scenes where she should have really been grieving were not convincing at all. Still all in all, I enjoyed the movie. Different!

Why some young and already attractive women have botox I cant comprehend and fully grasp the desire to become a talking duck...Too bad...too bad...I personally like a face who was not touch by any surgeon or modifications...It gives personality and something authentic...If every woman wants to look " attractive" by making herself looking like some kind of sex doll / android from sci-fi movies is bad ...bad choice....
