Mojang, Where is the End Update?

Description: It's been 9 years since we had an end update. Me: 9 years?! It hasn't been that long, the End got an update in 2015, which was only 1,2,3...... fuck.

Nice video, but a few things to note: 1 - You got a few things not quite right about the 1.21 update when recounting the details, such as the omission of the Ominous mechanic. 2 - The developers have stated the Nether Update was one of the most stressful updates of all time, and have implied crunching was necessary to get it done. 3 - They will never use community mods in the Vanilla game. They did do this historically (pistons & horses), but after that, they said they won't be doing that again. 4 - "Modders can do it in a day" is an argument as old as time, but modders do not have to make their features work cross-platform, go through hundreds of iterations of balancing and bugfixing, have loads of meetings and conferences, etc. Indie devving is a completely different ballgame to professional. 5 - An End Update may not be the most marketable for Mojangrosoft, since actually only about 10% of players ever go to the End. This is probably the main reason they haven't done an End Update yet.

Fun fact. End armour trims were the biggest update the end has gotten after 1.9

1.9 came out in 2016, not 2015, so it’s been 8 years since that update. Also the script for this video almost feels ai generated

If it happens, it will probably be somewhat like the echoing void DLC from MC Dungeons

Guys if we can wait 9 years for the gd update we can wait a little longer for the end update

I saw someone commented on a minecraft video essay just like this one (I forgot his/her/their name, huge thanks to him/her/them) that Mojang is a company. And you know what company wants? Money. When minecraft made the nether update, the game increased in popularity and mojang sees their income increasing. So, by that logic, Mojang will make the end update it's own thing to reduce the risk of the end update overshadowing this year's update and vice versa. Because THEY KNOW WELL the end is going to give them sweet sweet income. And, it make sense. And I'm confident the end update is going to be in the near future. Maybe even next year? Sorry for my bad English, I'm non-native English speaker. I heard that English people is easily offended when called the wrong pronouns (I don't know if this is true of not), so i use every pronouns I know because I don't know what gender the original commenter is. I'm afraid I use the wrong one. And what I write above isn't what the original comments actually said, I just write it with my memory and emphasize a few things. Cool video, I think there isn’t gonna be an end update but the end will be updated alongside other things, like all updates since 1.20. It’s probably gonna be like 1.23 or 1.24 that they start updating the end.

The end is meant to be devoid of anything. It's mostly void, that makes it fun and gives it sense. If we get it plenty of things and funky biomes the end will be like times square and that will kill it's authenticity

Honestly, i think the reason why mojang is taking so long to update the end, is bc they want to do it in the right way. And not add something just for the sake of it. The end doesn’t have much to it. But it has a very unique feel to it. I hope whatever they decide to add to the end it’s gonna make it fun to visit

People say that the end is suppose to feel barren and lonely. This gave me an idea. What if instead of travelling in the end to find a biome. The biomes will spawn in islands above the end. And the player can only reach their with an elytra. Also, there should be a special elytra boosting rocket that can be found in the end and only works there.

End Reimagined just doesn't fit The End or Minecraft in general imo

not sure we’ll get a end update, even mojang thinks it’s not necessary. judging by all the new recent features, we’ll most likely get a new dimension featuring the deep dark.
