Note: Bone broth can be high in histamines especially when it is cooked for many hours. Cook less hours to reduce histamines or opt in for a quick fish broth or mushrooms broth if you have dogs prone to allergies or have poor gut health. Choose bones from animal proteins that your dog is not allergic to.
General bone broth dosage guidelines for dogs (daily):
Small dogs (1/8 cup), medium dogs (1/4 cup), large dogs (1/3 to 1/2 cup), giant breeds (1 to 2 cups)
Some pet parents give bone broth every day. Our recommendation is to give it every second day or when your dog needs encouragement to eat. You can warm the broth prior to feeding. Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze.

Finally, another recipe video! Thank you for the insightful video😍🤩

I've seem many recipes for bone broth ( I make it for my GSD and 4 cats )....your method is by far the simplest and quickest. Thank you so much for sharing! By the way, I also use a pressure cooker because it cuts the time and it is also, as you say, healthier! Kudos 🐾💚👣

I’m so glad I found your video! This really helped me! 😊

Thank you for the helpful video Riesa and Bowie. I recently bought your book, Bowie Drools Over the Alphabet, and it's amazing. One of my dogs has food allergies, and also had a pancreatitis episode last month. Your book has us on the right track to creating her new lower fat diet. So far, we're one month out, and she's doing very well eating fresh foods. We're trying a batch of bone broth today, and it looks promising.

Made this for this first time tonight. Am I able to feed my pup the tender beef parts from beef chuck? Not the bones obviously! Just wasn’t sure if it cooked for too long to be safe for my dog. Thank you!!

I am so glad I watched this video. My dog had surgeries on both legs when she was about 8 months old. She will be 16 next week. I noticed she couldn’t stand up too long. When she ate she slipped and set on the floor several times (her teeth were all removed so she eats slowly). I added chicken feet gelatin to her homemade meals for more than 1 month now. Her legs are stronger and she enjoyed running more. She no longer slips when she eats.

Nice I love this video I also make bone broth on my channel ❤

I love making bone broth, too. We own a black Lab and a Shepherd Malinois mix. ❤

Where can I buy chicken feet? A local feed and grain store sells them dried for dog treats but I don't know where to look for raw ones?
-
This is great! What about the amounts of all the ingredients?

So happy I found this video. Thank you for sharing. Question: @1:33 in the video mentioned histamine. Slow cooking causes histamines? Usually cook food in the oven or soup pot on cook top for 1 to 2 hours. My dog has severe allergies so I've been trying to find ways to help. Hope I'm not adding to his problems.

How long will the gelled broth keep in a fridge or freezer please ?
-
Could you use the bones again and add more water? For a second batch. I have a instapot and going to be making broth this weekend. Great video by the way!
-
Thanks for the recipe. I used pressure cook to cook chicken feet for one and half hours today and it was successful. I boiled the feet first though to get rid of the impurities.

So pleased he makes his own choice. Life was meant to be fun too.😄 Australia.

Do i have to cook it in high heat in pressure cooker?
-
Is it ok to leave the nails on the feet? I keep seeing them remove them when they make bone broth for people.

Are the oil from the broth is harmful?
