  • dude, the guy that said he applied because of spiderman is literally me
  • MIT, more than most colleges in the US, has to be a good fit to be worth it. As hard as it is to get in, it is harder to get out. It mainly works because the students who do get in continue to develop their academic maturity year by year.

My dream school! I feel like with my stats I can get in, but I'm scared that I don't really know how to project my own personality into my application...

Hi! you really helped me :) because after finishing sophomore year with two b's I just lost all hope and MIT has been my dream for a long time, but once I watched your video, it helped me really believe in myself and really has made me believe that not only as a student but as a person that I can get into MIT. Thanks so much for making us believe in ourselves because sometimes we all lose hope but we all need it regained and you did just that! :D

The dream of mine is to attend MIT, but I will be able to pursue my research in technology as an online student. Furthermore, MIT offers a wide range of scholarships.

I'm not sure why, but you just came into my feed like a ray of hope into the darkness! I was literally giving up on even applying to MIT. But watching you made me feel comfortable for some reason. The chaos of uncertainty died down a bit, and now I feel like I'd be happier to atleast try

Let me summarize the entire video for you: If you got more than 1 B throughout the entirety of highschool, don't bother applying. If you got below a 1500 on the SAT, don't bother applying. If you didn't do tons of extra curricular activities, don't bother applying. It's the type of school for people who had their entire lives planned out already when they were in middleschool.
