An idea I had with mimics was something similar to an magical item, an symbiotic prosthetic. A mimic eye that replaces a lost eye and can detach from the host form wings and go scout. Or mimic skin, after suffering gruesome burns on his back the mimic skin grew over it, making him able to grow wings that while somewhat clumsy allowe foe a quick get away. A mimic hand that can turn into a lock pick or chew through rope when your trapped, as a handy replacement for the thief who lost his hand as punishment for stealing.

The new mimic is sooo great! I really enjoy your aesthetics, Terran; You've got a groovy, distinctive look going. Also, 'foil'.... just 'foil'. :)

I love both of them!!!!!! Such different personalities between old style and new 😊 ❤😊❤

I really loved how you went out of your way to use cheap/ common materials for the old school version. It looks fantastic! I've actually used hot glue to bash together some plaguebearers for AoS because I had left over bits but no bodies, so I know how awesome it can be for fleshy looking bits~

I really prefer the mimic you sculpted from green stuff ❤

With the new school mimic, if you want to keep it in two parts, put two magnets in each half, that way they will stick together and you can pull them apart when you want and you won’t loose the top half over time. I like “tin foil” it is easier to say.
