I forgot how insanely powerful this version of Toby was

When Flint hears “The old man you shot down in cold blood” you can see it in his eyes, even before his confession at the end, he’s still haunted by it. I love small details like that. It makes rewatching even better
  • 2:08 Everyone mentions the face grinding and how Peter really didn’t know if Marko would live through that or not, but no one mentions how even regularly dying from a giant wave of water overtaking you and drowning you is an awful enough way to go, but the second Peter sees water not only affects but disintegrates him he shows absolutely no hesitation in immediately trying to use it to kill him. God I love this movie and trilogy.

That "EVERYTHING" was just full of pain and anger, it's perfect for the scene

“Remember Ben Parker? The old man you shot down in cold blood?!” “What does it matter to you anyway?!” “EVERYTHING!” Best lines of the movie
  • A detail that goes unnoticed: Peter had no idea Flint could survive having his head shoved and grinded by a moving train. He went through with that action with the intent to kill him in such a painful way. Raimi was really trying to let us know how violent, brutal and savage Peter had become and how poisonous the symbiote had become
  • 1:25 I liked how raimi's Spiderman was never submissive. Even after getting hit by the trains a few times he manages to give Marko a super punch. Now that was BADASS

Is it me or are Toby’s grunts and screams just so iconic as Spider-Man

When you realize Sandman never took a shower since he was surprised water turns him to mud

1:24 Everyone’s talking about the “EVERYTHING!” or the “Good riddance” but that “It’s time to PAY, Marko!” sounded so full of rage that it was honestly chilling
  • "ITS TIME TO PAY MARKO" Tobey really delivered that line so perfectly. Never gets old

1:59 is just pure wallpaper worthy stuff. The cinematography in the entire trilogy is absolutely beautiful.

I know people give this movie a lot of hate. But this is one of the scenes in it that saves it all for me. This scene shows how extreme Peters hatred and anger has become. He embraces the pain to fuel him to destroy. His ark of peace at the finale when he forgives Flint is amazing. This plot line ties together so well.
  • This is the last movie i saw with my grandfather before he passed away due to cancer. I remember seeing him hyped up when this battle was going on in the movies. Man he loved Spider-Man as well and I miss that man with all my heart. Edit: Thank-you everyone for the awesome and loving replies. Saw no way home. Awesome movie hope you guys enjoyed it.

When you realise Peter is legitimately trying to kill sandman in this scene, if he wasn’t made of sand he would have desicrated his corpse with those punches.

The “ everything!!!” Line still gives me chills till this day

I love the "Everything!" after Flint asks "what does it matte to you anyway?" so much. There's so much venom and hatred behind it, you get exactly why Peter said it after watching the previous movies.
