Death Valley, CA | Jarrod Ames Photography

In this video, I travel to Death Valley National Park in California. This video only features video shot on the Blackmagic Pocket 6K and photographs from this day. I shot this for entertainment value and to story tell thru just images.

I stop at three iconic spots in Death Valley and find unique photographs at each location. First, I stop for an early morning sunrise at Badwater Basin area and get touristed by a woman who literally sits right in front of my camera and shot! Next, my friend and I move to the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes and find out that it is a lot harder and a lot further to get a good shot. Last, we stop off at a tourist favorite, Zabriskie Point. The steep paved walk yields to some of the best views of Death Valley just as the clouds started to move in.
