A four-peat is absolutely amazing. And to think that if the 1500m wasn’t introduced only 3 years ago, she would also have the four gold medals for that. But honestly, I think it’s even more astonishing that she holds the top TWENTY performances for the 1500m and the top TWENTY-FIVE performances for the 800m.

Titmus really gave her a run for her money in the first half, but Ledecky's stamina is simply incredible. Basically gapped the field in the 400-600m segment. Great result for Ledecky and great result for America to earn the double podium.

I have to say, NBC needs to get better. The reactions are awesome to watch, please show them! This is their stage, it's not like soccer which has the World Cup and other competitions. Their celebrations need to be highlighted!

Close race, but it was clear by 550m that she's still got it. Leaving Australia in the dust, she makes history today. 14 medals, 9 of them gold, congrats to the saving grace of the US swim team!!!!
