  • We love using our dark purple opal basil to make tea! It changes from a blue-green color to pink with citrus, so fun! My daughter calls it unicorn tea and so it will forever be unicorn tea to us!! 🥰

I really like the pairing of the channels - growing/harvesting something from the garden on R&R then preparing it on TFT.

I found a great recipe for a bevarage a while back, and just tweaked it to my liking: you brew tea (I used hibiscus), let it steep, sweeten it, and let it cool in the fridge over night. The next day, you fill it into a ice cube tray, and freeze it. When that's frozen, you fill as many ice cubes into a glass as your heart desires, and then you pour sparkling water over it. So good <3

As someone who isn’t a big tea drinker, I 10/10 recommend trying this! It’s been my favorite thing to drink since trying it last year. We also poured basil tea into moulds and threw them in the freezer for popsicles. Huge hit!
  • Orange mint with the basil tea is SOOOOOOOO fruity and delicious

lemon balm, holy basil and mint sounds really good.

I like the combination of videos between your two channels!
  • Oh please may we have the recipe for the Strawberry Basil ice cream!!! Thank you for today's as well! Blessings on your day Kiddo!🌻🐛🌿💚

I like basil, but I’m growing almost 30 basil plants just so I can have all the basil tea all the time lol!! I LOVE this tea!! Absolute favorite! Thank you so much!
  • I can't wait for the side by side videos (especially Eggplant since you talked it up last year!😅).
  • Omg....I've been watching you make basil tea for a while. Today I made my first ever quart of tea. I used purple opal, cinnamon, lemon and HOLY COW my life is forever changed ❤❤

I can’t wait for my basil to get going so I can make this again! Last weekend I made iced tea with pineapple sage, lemon balm and spearmint. I sweetened it with honey and a touch of lemon juice. It’s so refreshing!
  • I add oregano to my holy basil, mint, lemon balm, lemon juice with some peach syrup and it reminds me of the peach green tea lemonade at Starbucks without the caffeine.
  • We started drinking this a couple years ago when you first discovered it. Can’t wait for our basil to grow big enough to start harvesting for tea 😊

It has never occurred to me to try basil in a tea. I will definitely try it now.
