One week Paul came in every morning and sang this vocal intensely as he could in order to deliberately rough up the sound of his voice; it worked!

It will blow our mind how many deep cut tracks are bangers as much as hit singles. About 95% of them. Very little throw away tracks. 211 song catalog in a 8 year window. 186 of those written by them. It's incredible.

For a sample of what they sound like, check out the following Beatles' songs: * I've Got a Feeling - He and John go back and forth, but Paul reigns supreme * Get Back - Paul intentionally made himself sound nasally here * I Will - A lovely ballad and soothing vocals (hear the bass vocals) * Helter Skelter - Many say this is the precursor to the heavy metal genre * Lady Madonna - A little alto, a little rock * Kansas City - He drew inspiration from Little Richards * Honey Pie - Paul dreamt of writing show tunes * Rocky Raccoon - Western movies tribute * Why Don't We Do It in the Road - Pure rock * You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) - A nice mashup of his vocal ability I thank my older brothers and uncles for exposing me to The Beatles music when I was very young. Proud 38-year old Beatles fan.

This song will get stuck in my head for days sometimes and it's just so so good. And I think the backing vocals on this are pure genius. I follow some reactors who do a ton of Beatles stuff and so they figure out a process of some sort. I definitely heard multiple of them say that it usually takes them about 3 weeks to get a Beatles one up.

Ringo's fills are incredible in this song, specially the one just before the chorus. And they're even more impressive when you hear the isolated drum track. Some people say he couldn't play drums, go figure
