Wild Camping With Three Dogs and a Goat is an entertaining experience to say the least. They are however more useful than one may think. My dogs provide security against bears. In Utah bears are hunted with dogs which conditions them to run away at the first sign that a dog is in the area. My dogs also come in quite handy for those nights when it gets a bit colder than expected. They are happy to snuggle to share warmth which has saved me more than once. While I don't snuggle bill, he definitely pulls his own weight. Especially on work motivated trips like this one when I'm bringing extra gear for testing or filming purposes. All in all I think we make a pretty good team for both work and play.

As for the new products I tested on this trip:

5-WAY Cast-Iron Bushcraft Cookware! Wow! Better better than I had even helped! Even makes waffles! (First time test video coming soon).
Let's review all this uniquely versatile cookware offers within it's "Do it All" design:
Grilling (NEW drain slot for catch-caning the fat!)
Roasting (New deep pan fits a whole chicken!)
Boiling (Nearly 2qt capacity! an excellent sauce pan!)
Saute (Grill lines underneath provide thermal mass while directing heat flow for intuitive predictable heat)
Griddle (Makes the best Bacon and eggs I've ever tasted!)
Bake (Two heights one for rolls, biscuits etc. another for breads, cakes etc.)
Waffles (I made perfect Waffles at the recent "Firebox Community Camp" such a blast!)
Panini Sandwiches (The weight of cast-iron creates a perfect Panini press!)
Deep Frying (I'm working on a roasting rack that doubles as fryer basket! Thanks for the idea Brian!)
Dutch Oven (Deep: 2qt great for the family. Shallow: 2 cups great for solo adventures)

Is there anything it can't do? If you can think of anything, please tell me about it in the comment section so I can try to incorporate that functionality! I want this product to be as amazing as possible! A true jack of all trades that is a master of all!

Kit Bag/Chest Pack: I'm loving this bag not only because its size seems to be perfect for holding the different gear I find myself wanting to keep together. This pack also has great ergonomics! I love using it. Items are easy to find and convenient to get when you need them. The way you can organize makes it very intuitive to use.

BOX-POT minimalist solo cook kit! If you like eating real food rather than "freeze dried" but need to keep your gear at a minimum you'll love BOX-POT! This little guy takes up about the same space as a camping mug but cooks all kinds of food amazingly well!
So far, I've made:

Bacon & Eggs with Sausage. The square shape and low profile makes pan frying totally doable! Definitely delicious!

Biscuits and Gravy. I baked the biscuits using the cooking stone then cooked sausage and made milk gravy from scratch! Everything cooked in the BOX-POT. Too good to be true!

Ramen. I know, not very challenging but the BOX POT is the perfect size and shape for cooking the Ramen noodle block without needing to break it up. Bonus points!

Cake. Believe it or not, you can bake a cake to perfection using the box pot with the cooking stone as thermal mass in the bottom. Delectable!

Can't say it enough that Bill is so huge now! He hates cameras, Steve. Nice to see Ash again, you're as calm as ever. Junnie, you too, so adorable. Maggie is learning to stick with the pack. Edit: It's sad to know about Levi. I hope he heals well.

Our words have great impact on out lives. You call Bill a "bad goat", now you have to deal with what you say. I love your videos, such a nice peace time, and all of your products. I've ordered almost everything you offer, not really, but a lot.
  • @Hogdriver88
Loved the full-length video. Can’t wait for the box pot and cast iron pot to come out. Noticed when you first arrived that the truck window was left open!
  • @twentybelow2
Long time subscriber, first time commenting. Another well-edited adventure video, as usual. The new mutt is a great addition to the pack, and a very pretty addition at that. As someone who used to raise goats, Bill will always be the star of the show for me. All your animals are so well behaved which of course is a result of excellent training on your part. Glad to see you're adding cast iron cookware to your product line... that's all we ever cook with, even when kayak camping, so I'm looking forward to the kickstarter with great interest. Your marketing strategy is ingenious! Thanks for taking us along on your trips into the gorgeous Utah backcountry.

This is really incredible. My car was totaled by a hit and run semi-truck this week. And when I was thinking of ways to wind down and relieve some stress, I thought of cooking up a grilled fish dinner and going on your channel to watch a video. These videos must take a ton of work, and so is running your own business. So I really appreciate all of the value you put out there 🌲
  • @whereswendy8544
Always love watching your vids and the animals of the pack. Maggie is a bundle of energy! All the food turned out fantastic looking, that beef pot roast made me hungry. Look forward to your next adventure!😊
  • @larryn8
Great video - Outdoors, hiking, scenery, lake, cooking… with the best trail buddies! To bad about your fishing pole getting broken. you almost landed that one trout even with a broke pole. Cast iron “Do-It-All” creates new cooking options. Looking forward to the release.
