DISCLAIMER:
This video shows the solutions to the three puzzles created in the Fisher's Shop Wooden Puzzles build video. Don't watch this video if you want to be able to figure out the puzzles on your own.

In this video, I demonstrate the solutions to each of the three puzzles I built in the Wooden Puzzles build video. The three puzzles are the puzzle cube, the Oliver string puzzle, and the star puzzle. If you haven't seen the build video yet, I encourage you to see how each of the puzzles are made by watching it here:    • Woodworking: Making Wooden Puzzles  .

  • Drew, I enjoyed both videos today as always. You probably already know this, but just by chance, you don't, the cube is called a Soma Cube. Check it out on wikipedia and you'll see that a cube is only one shape you can make. There's a lot of different shapes which makes for a whole lot more fun.

Love em! Thanks again Drew! Making these for my grandkids soon!
  • So glad you showed a video with how to solve these puzzles or it would have driven me crazy! I love them all but think my favorite is the ring puzzle.

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making these videos. What makes them so much more entertaining is the outtakes.
  • I grew up playing these types of puzzles. My grandfather built them as well as the impossible nail puzzle and a few others. Great explanations

GrandPa had puzzles two and three in his roll top desk 40 years ago. Memories.... :-) There were lots of puzzles in the drawers of that desk and i'd enjoy seeing you build more to compare with my childhood.

I actually have all three puzzles, but they are store bought ones. These self made ones are way cooler, and more beautiful! Well done, Drew! Haven't played with them in a while, so to see the solutions was nice too!
  • @BruceAUlrich
Such cool little projects! Thanks for sharing the secrets.
  • @MRrwmac
Thanks! I may build these because you made it sound so easy.
  • Hola! 🖐 Thanks for separating the "keys" to the puzzles separately from the actual build videos. These puzzles are definitely on my "To Do" list. Take care and have a good one, Adios! 👊
