The scene you showed of Tom Cruise in "Collateral" is what we show in gun classes because that move that he pulls is literally textbook.
  • @CapeHatteras99
Hemsworth hiding behind a ladder while a chopper is shooting at him might be one of the most laughable moments in action history.
  • Christoph Waltz made Django Unchained worth watching a second time. He was so good in Inglorius Bastards

Gene Hackman! What a versatile actor, this guy always nails the part he’s playing.
  • You’ve got to give it to the 80s and 90s. Ripely fighting the queen in Aliens, the Terminator 2 spillway chase scene, the firing line in the jungle in the Predator. You could do a whole list ranked above these with just that era of action flicks.

The Kingsman scene with "Free Bird" guitar solo playing in the background is just Awesome.
  • That 20 minute prison escape scene from Extraction 2 was one of the most badass scenes in I’ve seen in YEARS! “This is from Matilda” is such a simple yet powerful line. One of my favorite last words from a character.
  • Tony Jaa's Stairwell fight scene in The Protector is probably the most badass hand-to-hand combat scene in any martial arts film.

This is one of the best recap videos I've ever seen. So many of these movies I haven't seen, I stopped watching MSM 10 years ago. Have to save this to my favorites so i can use it as a viewer guide for the foreseeable future. Thank you for puting this together. A++++ Subbed

I have to say, If you had to pick a Daniel Craig Bond chase scene, I would have chosen the opening scene from Casino Royale.

Correction for the 10-on-1 fight in Ip Man, they mostly do fight him one at a time. You can see other opponents standing around in the background while Ip Man takes his time punching someone in the face a lot. Don't get me wrong -- I'm a huge Donnie Yen fan, but the end fight in Flash Point is way cooler. That said, really glad you included The Raid 2 -- almost every scene is an overdose of brutal violence (Hammer Girl? Prakoso? Eka rescues Rama? Any one of those sequences would put it on the list!)

So I love your inclusion of the ending of The Good The Bad and The Ugly, but you definitely missed one. I think easily the coolest most badass scene in cinema history is the final showdown in For a Few Dollars More. When the watch starts to come to an end and then all of a sudden the second watch starts to play and we see Clint holding that rifle and he walks over and gives Mortimer his gun and says “now we start,” that is just truly breathtaking

Ripley, "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure." The most badass line in movies ever.

You hit it on the head with all of these but including the great Gene Hackman is top notch. He's truly one of the best!
  • The knife viggo mortensen swats away with his sword was a real knife mistakenly placed by the stunt crew and was thrown at him by accident. it was meant to go to his side and hit the tree, to demonstrate the random sword swinging, dagger, arrow flying of the fight. Viggo spotted it and swiped it away. Thus creating an epic shot and saving himself from serious if not fatal injury.

Naru and her brother in Prey mirrored each other. He finished her lion, she finished tue alien hunter. Her brother did a lot of damage to the hunter. There was no shame in his defeat. It taught Naru how not to fight it
