Aiyuk wants his cake and eat it too. Problem is that good teams have to spread the wealth.

$32M?!?! I love BA, but that's insane. I was onboard for a Niners re-signing around $27M-$28M, but he can go play for a mid team for that amount.
  • I don’t understand aiyuk. He was offered 26 mil a year from the 49ers and won’t take it because he feels he deserves more. But then he declines 32 millions because he doesn’t want to be on a bad team. If you wanna get paid and be on a winning team, I feel the 26 million a year the 9ths offered is more than fair. Plus is it really worth him going to the Steelers for a couple million more a year when the Steelers are a much worse team than the 9ers. At this point I don’t even know what aiyuk wants.
  • As a 9er fan I'm over it. He's under contract for $14m. Play or pout on your contract year.

As a Niner fan, I wish BA all the best wherever he lands. We'll muddle through somehow.

9ers offering 27m is more than enough

St Brown at 25 mill is the best wr deal and it's not even close. Signing your players early gets you better deals. Detroit smart.

He wants $32M from a contender, but no contender is so down bad to get him that they’ll pay that much. Only a team desperate to add star power like the Patriots apparently were willing to offer him that.
  • As a Rams fan I think the 49ers organization is a good one. I cannot believe he turned down 26-27 mil and a chance at a ring over playing in the snow at 32 mil and maybe sniffing the playoffs.
  • No other team that wants you is going to be SB ready besides the 49ers. You won't take $27M and actually compete for a ring? that's just wild. 49ers have you in the best possible spot.

I dont understand how 26-28 million is not enough to stay on a sb team and compete every year?? These dudes would really rather go play for a .500 team jus to make 3-4 million extra a year! Like what can u buy wit 32mil that u can't buy with 28!?? Smfh
  • The key guys here are Lenoir and Ward-two really good cornerbacks that are going to be free agents next year. I'd rather keep them.
  • @briano9397
Is he aware if he wants to take less money to play for a better team... Theres a pretty good one in San Fran
  • @tommydong8070
The Niners don't have to trade Aiyuk now. If he decides to sit out for the year, the team still have control and trade him during next year's draft.
  • He wants top dollar AND be on a winning team. Can't have it all, homie.
  • @lastpme
He turned down a $32M contract…he is crazy. He should had taken that deal.

As a Niners and Aiyuk fan ..I'm tired of it! Make him play on the 5th yr and franchise him the next 2 yrs! That would send a message...
