Sometimes the process to making things beautiful entails a lot of hard, dirty, even tedious work! Today we're doing a lot of that while also taking moments to make a delicious sourdough rhubarb meringue pie in the kitchen, and more! I hope you're inspired 🖤
With love,
Steph

  • Hello! Local Lancaster mama here! We had HORRIBLE issues with beatles and I was discussing it with an Amish friend of ours and she asked if we knew of Shaklee which is who I use their non toxic cleaning products so I knew exactly what she was talking about. But she said take 1-2 tablespoons of Basic H and put it in a gallon of water. Water your plants when you transplant them or they start sprouting. If you notice bugs and beatles down the road water again with the solution. So far we've had GREAT success with this trick. You can find Shaklee products at a lot of the local Amish grocery stores. We're on the southern end so it seems we have one in every small town. Praying you have success!! I just want to also say that you have been a light in some very dark seasons recently. Thank you for your love for Lord!

I throughly enjoyed watching this video. Steph. You’re such a hard worker. It was cute watching your oldest holding her baby brother. Your home and property is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. Blessings to you and yours.

Steph, if you have tall tomatoes, what I do is, make a trench in the dirt, lay your tomato plant in the trench and cover the roots and stems with dirt, just leaving the top of your plant exposed. Makes the plant more stable.

I can’t believe you garden in a skirt and a white sweater. 😊. I am a wreck when I come in from the garden. 😂. Happy Mothers Day to you 🍓! Blessings!

Cucumber beetles are the very reason I switched cucumber varieties. I now ONLY plant Corentine Hybrid cucumbers, they are a 45 day cucumber which means they are much bigger by the time the beetles come around, and they are crazy prolific producers, so beetles don't have much on them.

Hello Steph!!!! That pie looked delicious 😋. Your garden is beautiful!! The kids are adorable!! Baby William smiling was precious ❤ I hope you had a wonderful mother's day full of joy and smiles😊 until your next one take care and God bless ❤
  • You and your beautiful family are so very inspiring and very sweet! I love your sweet daughter carrying the baby, such a big helper. I love watching a day on the farm. Dinner and dessert looked delicious! ❤
  • Great to see you working so hard to get your garden in...and remember you can plant tomatoes really deeply on their stem so that most of the stem is underground and the top leaves are up showing at the soil line. They will root along the stem, same with broccoli plants

We're a family of 5, going on 6 in August. I plant 200 tomato plants for my family and all of our canning. I could use more if we have a bad blight year but for the most part that's just the right amount.
  • Love that big old gummy baby smile! My littlest is getting 7 teeth right now, so his sweet gummy smile is going to be gone soon. Goes too fast! 😭 love your videos!
  • @ozarkview928
Good morning love your positivity! I wanted to tell you to bury those tomato plants up to there first set of leaves . They will grow roots from the steam . I stay my own plants also and planted around ten plants this year since it’s only my husband and I for the most part .
  • HAPPY BELATED MOTHER'S DAY STEPH! GOLLY Gee you and the family are hard workers and such TEAM WORK. HOW sweet is the baby smiling. Enjoy your week. STTB
  • @Maria-ob4kj
You can always plant your tomato plant a lot deeper inside the soil. So they form more roots and become stronger. BTW I love your videos. You are so inspiring ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love watching your fun videos! Being a young wife, I'm still learning when it comes to homemaking and gardening, and your videos have been helpful and inspirational! I also grew up on a dairy farm, so seeing the cows brings back memories!:)

Well... As far as how many tomato plants!! 😂😂😂 This winter, I was no weight bearing so I took to planning, ordering seeds.. I did so very well, and I have so many varieties with 35 plants! I'm hoping for a colorful harvest! You are such a treasure to me... thank you!
