One of my favourite Astro channels. I learn something from every one of your videos. +1 on quality over quantity. Looking forward to your 2024 lineup. Keep up the great work.

Your channel strategy is perfect - quality over quantity. I am looking forward to the spectro topics you mentioned, very original angles you highlighted!

Excellent for you. I just subscribed today, this morning after watching some of your videos. I'm going to Fredericksburg, TX for the eclipse. I will video the Peak for ten minutes with my Lunt 50mm HA Solar Scope and a 102mm triplet with solar-film filter while watching it like you with binoculars. Unless I can borrow a binoviewer. I live in New Mexico near some really dark skies.

I agree with the pace of your channel. We learn to have patience in this hobby, so don't rush videos out if it means reducing the quality. And don't forget to enjoy the hobby too, it's often challenging enough getting our setups to work, finding new targets to image etc. never let alone doing the research for your YouTube videos. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations on hitting 3K! You got there much faster than I did. Your topics and content quality are excellent. I see your channels growth continuing :) Austin is a great area. Be sure to sample some Texas BBQ. CS!
  • @ApoorvaIyer
Not only are you at 3K subscribers, but you are at 3.14K subscribers. Which matches the scientific nature of the work you do :)
  • @aradani3
Thank you for doing this, I enjoy your videos and learn a lot!!

Great videos. Done by a Scientist and Engineer and Inventor ✨️

25-year resident of Austin. It's a great town, but beware the traffic. lol Lake Buchanan is right in the path of totality and is only about a 1-hr drive.

A vacation to Hawaii could certainly be justified. You'd just have to go up Mauna Kea.
  • @physmc1
I think you have the right idea: Quality over quantity and don't overdo it. If you still take suggestions, I would love to see one day a video focused on spectroscopy analysis. I feel that there are not that many around and the tools available have a steep learning curve.
  • @Hilmi12
Burnout is a challenge, I worked hard on my astronomy channel and it is a lot of work.
  • @ravnica1
Although I learnt a lot from the books your spectroscopy videos are brilliant Also your GitHub projects are good I have been slow to put my spectroscopy equipment together due to demanding day job so I wonder how is it possible to do astrophotography, spectroscopy, open source software and to maintain a YouTube channel as well
  • @anata5127
What about spectrograph? Do you sell them?
