JT does not get enough credit for his contribution to the TEAM SPIRIT of the celtics. He could hog the ball but he sets an example of working together. He also does not get enough credit for his remarkable defense. And that is where JT's greatness truly is.

JT deserves so much more respect and credit for what he’s done this season. He’s impacting the game in so many different ways than he has done in the past and it’s leading to this team winning more games. He should be getting even more respect now and his playing this style of basketball should scare the living crap out of everyone else in the league. He’s dominating in a completely different way which means his game is evolving which means he is becoming even more well rounded.

This is why we love Tatum. He's been "the guy" that gets 40 8 and 8 and either lost a close game or won a close game, but being the guy that draws double coverage so he can dish it out and they go 30-2 in a stretch of games where the average margin of victory is 12 points is the smarter move. He's elite, and has also abandoned the ego in pursuit of making the smartest play. The Celtics will win 4 or 5 more championships over the next 6 years with this roster.
