  • If you want to live in a nice neighborhood in San Diego County, I recommend you buy thirty years ago.

The streets in down town San Diego are some of the worst I've driven on. As far as cleanlieness - I have to agree - it's quite dirty in certain areas.
  • @roamgarcia4918
Super helpful video. I would just suggest showing pictures or short clips of the neighborhoods as you mention them so your viewer can get an idea of what the area looks like.

Good information…so what about the safest area to live in beside traffic condition
  • @suhseal
the Safari Park is a weird example of far... cuz Safari Park is in the middle of no where tucked up in escondido. Escondido is like an hour away from anywhere central depending on the gridlock of traffic on the 15. Like if you said the san diego zoo which is right in the middle of central San Diego in Balboa Park, that would be a better benchmark.
  • I been on everybstreet being a Uber eats driver. Chula Vista ain't bad its got alot shopping oportunities and it gets you very close to mexixo if your trying to go to mexixo often. Typically broker people move to Chula opposed to pacific Beach, ocean Beach, Coronado, obviously la Jolla. Personally coming from long Island, i only find pacific beach, ocean beach, Encinitas, north park acceptable. Otherwise I'd live on long Island where theres not 100 people in your face 24 7
  • this is why i chose University City to live. i mean, i will visit Downtown and other southern areas, but most of San Diego is a Mad Max no mans land these days, which is sad.

Moving from Nor Cal to La Mesa next month . Commuting for work to Santee and Clairmont …any tips on traffic ??
  • I’m from CA but from Northern and I lived in LA for 10 years until I ended up on the east coast-I’m a west coaster all the way so I miss CA and want to move back to So Cal. I’m decided between LA & SD but LA may be better for me since I’m considering getting back into the performing arts. But I may try SD. It’s just me and my dog and I’m looking for an affordable apartment not too far from the beach but preferably close to a dog park in a dog friendly town-any suggestions? Thanks!😎🌴🌊

how does the cleanliness of downtown compare to say NYC streets? my wife and I are moving in a few months, and she works in la Jolla at the VA hospital. Our plan is to get a rental in little Italy so she can take the blue line up there to avoid traffic. Want to make sure we aren't going toregret that choice

You know whats crazy? Vista was once considered the best neighborhood in the county. Like in 1991, not kidding😅
  • @talinearthur5601
Do your research! National Geographic dubbed Vista, CA as one of the places in the world with the best weather. Vista, CA is located just seven miles from the coast (as the crow flies) - close enough for the ocean breeze and far enough to avoid the marine layer. Also, in the recent book, "50 Fabulous Places to Raise Your Family", Vista, CA was voted #7 of the 50 best cities in the nation!

This list is actually surprising not going to lie
  • @DavidPat
I never visit my friends in Del Sur. Literally nothing there and it's a long drive 😞
  • I disagree with your assessment of Chula Vista. You make it sound as if you are going to be driving everyday to the Safari Park. Nobody goes to those places except out of town tourist. Some communities in Eastern modern Chula Vista do not have Mello Roos, some builders paid it up front to compete with other builders.
  • WiSH I could grow my beard out. I don't shave for 1 day and I look homeless
