Some dude was sitting in class knowing he had to guard lebron on national television
-
Imagine struggling in algebra 2 then having to face Lebron
-
🤔 The fact that LeBron James was the most hyped High School athlete in the history of the world is one thing,. the fact that he ACTUALLY EXCEEDED those expectations is a whole another thing all together! 😳🤯🤯
-
Just realised how good reporters were at their jobs back then. this commentary was absolutely gold
-
Imagine being 17 and being compared to MJ and Magic. And 20 years later the conversation is still going on.
-
13:38 vitale says "please surround yourself with people that care" 18 yrs later no arrests no bad publicity his close circle are all bosses and millionaires. bron is really that dude
-
I'm watching this immediately after he just broke Kareem's record. Absolute legendary moment in history as he will continue to blow minds across the world.
-
8:55 “There aren’t many guys in the NBA who make their teamates more efficient. I think he has that potential” WOW. Perfectly predicted
-
"I'm not saying he's Magic" - 17 years later he's leading the league in assists playing PG for The Lakers.
-
So LeBron been carrying teams since high school
-
I’m watching this after he had played on a injured foot in the playoffs and still dropped 40. WHAT A LEGEND
-
Watching this 20 years later in 2022 gives me chills. The commentators were great here; acknowledging the potential threats he could face as a young super star was especially insightful. 20 years later, he has stayed far away from all these troubles, and consistently stayed a great athlete. Consistently stayed a champion. Also, this video proves that a supportive family member helps you go a long, long way. Watching his mom cheering and jumping up and down just made my eyes watery. Incredible footage. What a role model. I hope all the best for LeBron James and his family.

It’s interesting how the commentators literally forecasted his entire career almost perfectly.
-
A random guy called Skip Bayless was watching this game and was like “… wow, I can build a whole career around this kid”
-
Even his interview skills at that age was praised. Bro is meant to be a superstar.
-
People don't really understand how good this man has been for so long 👑 🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
-
“If he’s half as good as all I’ve heard about him, he’s gonna he one special athlete”. Turns out he’s twice as good as everyone thought lol
-
Lebron was so dominant in high school dawg it's not even fair
-
Been dominating for 20 years, lived up to all the hype. Fan of him or not, LeBron is just a once in a generation type of athlete. Appreciate him while he's still playing.
-
Amazing that 21 years later, I get to see LeBron still playing today. Had a triple double this afternoon with 28, 11, and 17 assists at age 39. He keeps living up to those Magic comparisons. Respect to the king 👑
