Hey guys, STK here back with the playthrough of GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK PS5. Please like, comment, and subscribe. Enjoy the gameplay!

God of War Ragnarök is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It will be the ninth installment in the God of War series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game will be set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos and his teenage son Atreus. Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game will cover Ragnarök, a series of events that bring about the end of days, and depicts the deaths of some of the Norse gods, which was foretold to happen in the previous game after Kratos killed the Æsir god Baldur.

Taking place three years following the events of the previous game, Fimbulwinter, a great winter that spans three summers, is drawing to a close which will begin the prophesied Ragnarök. Kratos and his teenage son Atreus begin to traverse the nine realms to seek out a means to prevent Ragnarök while attempting to uncover answers behind Atreus' identity as Loki. Their journey will lead them to Týr, the Norse God of War who was previously believed to be dead. Their conflict will lie with Thor, the Norse God of Thunder who seeks revenge following the deaths of his half-brother Baldur and two sons Modi and Magni; Odin, Thor's father and King of the Norse Gods; and ally-turned-enemy Freya, who seeks revenge following the death of her son Baldur.

  • The fact that Brok even knew something was up shows that dwarves are very clever.

Damn Odin was so close from taking the mask to the room and transporting to Asgard to see inside. Brok litteraly saved everyone by sacrificing himself.

This moment single handedly changed my perception of the story. Before the game came out I was really hyped to see Tyr, I was excited to see what he was going to do in the story. But after saving him I was really let down how little he does in the story, or the fact he just complains about my actions. Well after this one scene not only did they raised the stakes with Broks death, but completely changing the perception of Tyr’s character in the story. Now everything about him make sense and it shows just how smart and evil Odin is

you know brok’s death is very sad when the next objective name is “Leave…”
  • @immiinent
I always thought that mission of freeing “tyr” in the mines was too easy and simple too 😂 because in the first game they always talked about tyr being like really powerful
  • Man, this scene fill me with both sadness and anger. Seeing Brok completely dying was heartbreaking. He was the first dwarf we ever see, and the first dwarf we see getting killed, and no, those dwart we see lying dead doesn't count because they were already dead, and we witnessed Brok's death.
  • The reason Brok knew, his distrust/dislike/hatred the Aesir aside, is the lesson he taught Kratos and Mimir: form and nature. He saw something off about "Tyr's" nature.

Yea Brok wasn’t dumb at all.. when I watched my cousin get to this part of the game I automatically got sad. One because Brok got killed and two because I was excited when we freed Tyr just to find out it wasn’t him at all was too much…. That’s why I understand Kratos reaction he just lost a friend and was deceived by the gods again just like on Olympus. Great/ Sad scene

Biggest and saddest spoiler in the story Brok had that clairvoyance

No wonder he reacted very oddly when atreus showed Groas prophecy...u can tell "tyr" got sort of angry finding out she had lie and the true prophecy is that he would die. Overall the way he acts trying not to start wars with Odin was odd because everyone goes through stuff but as Atreus says before freeing "Tyr", if he was imprisoned by Odin and he was freed his first target would be Odin and it makes sense so it was odd seeing Tyr act very traumatized and wanting nothing to do with a war against Odin
  • @drumrocka
Heartbroken about Brok. And the way Kratos says “release my son”… the panic, the anger. As a father to a couple of kids, I feel that on a whole nother level.
  • @neumann7888
Odin really lives to his nickname as "All Fucker" given by Mimir
  • The thing that always got me as odd was Odins Ravens are everywhere during the adventure. Wouldn't he have been able to see and come up with an idea of what his enemies might be planning throughout their journey?

This was an amazing scene. My buddy who’s been a little ahead of me in the game mentioned a “crazy plot twist” but this still totally took me by surprise. Like others in here have said, the foreshadowing was certainly there so I’m sure I’ll pick up on all of the things he says that don’t add up once I play through it again, but I didn’t see this coming whatsoever. Bravo to Santa Monica Studio & the writers of this game because it’s incredible. PS I’m not far past this part, so no spoilers please.
  • Wow. This scene blew my mind, I had to see it again right when I just finished this part. This is masterful writing. Santa Monica puts even Hollywood to shame.

Had Odin actually killed Atreus here, he would’ve met the god Kratos once was. Kratos would’ve Zeus’d him
  • @MrJeeni007
Tyr calling Atreus Loki every single time was a major giveaway that it was Odin. Lol I have wondered why he keeps calling him that and I didn't even get it. 😂
  • @torizo8763
so sad that we won't be able to interact with the real Tyr and have an awesome dialogue.
