I am a guy in my 50s who left the army after a combat injury. I wanted to start exercising again but I could no longer do weights so I thought I’d try Pilates. I found your channel 5 years ago and it was a life saver. I just wanted to express my deep gratitude to you and wish you all the very best with your recovery. Sending love and positive energy your way.

I just had my mastectomy 3 weeks ago. It was quite a fast decision. Biopsy on April 23rd, Pet Ct and fish test as and then the single mastectomy. Drains for 4 days. No reconstruction. Chemo next week. Needed 6 chemos and 15 radiation. As you’ve said, you never want news like this. No history of breast cancer in both sides of my family. It is what it is. Plan is to walk as much as I can. Been doing hands free yoga for the past 3 week. Will try swimming next week and some light weights. Don’t have my full range of movement yet. Getting stiffness on the side which I’m aware off and stretching every few hours. Lightning bolts of pain and some cording that comes and goes. I’m a pianist so I do keep my hands/fingers moving:-) Thank you for your sharing. Helps tremendously mentally that I’m on the right track. Working hard to balance myself again physically and mentally. Your videos are a god sent. Thank you for the other side of the world, Malaysia.
