Thankyou for educated and rational analysis, rather than hype and doomsday!!! As a pilot who flies out of IAH I appreciate your down to earth approach to forecasting. I can take 'ifs', 'buts' and 'maybes', if they are validated by the current models. The fact that you quoted both the US and Euro models shows you take info from various sources and aren't out to exaggerate and scare like certain other channels. Good job Sir.ππ

I think the models are underestimating the potential for rapid intensification that will be possible given the very warm water temps present in the Gulf. May hit as a Cat 2 or higher. I see gas prices going up because of this.
