People in Caracas have been banging pots and pans from their homes and on the streets in protest against Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro's claim of victory in the country's disputed election.

Crowds of people have been making their way, by foot, to Miraflores – the presidential palace – in protest.

The opposition has disputed Mr Maduro's declaration of victory as fraudulent, saying its candidate Edmundo González won convincingly with 70% of the vote.

Noticed the BBC that public broadcaster we are forced to pay a licence fee for, is turning comments off on certain videos of theirs, videos that involve certain groups of people. BBC basically don't want us criticising in the comment section the reality.
  • That’ll teach Venezuela not to interfere with US elections🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Socialism is a compelling idealogy for people who want power and money.
