FDR worked hard to keep his wheelchair use away from the media. It is fascinating that the film went dark when FDR was transported from the train into his seat in the automobile.

Note: Use RED LIGHT, NOT BLUE, in a completely darkened room if you want to examine possibly undeveloped film. Just an FYI.

Film stock that old likely needs some preservation treatment before being unrolled and trying to run it through a projector. (back in the early 90's I worked in the photo industry and helped a friend with a jackpot like this...a Navy duffel bag filled with reels upon reels of film shot in the 1930's...the friend's late great uncle who was a Navy officer before and during WW2...We had to get a bunch of chemistry that Kodak used to make to carefully treat the film as we unrolled it from one reel to another, then back again...increased the flexibility of the material). Search for a good local museum or university library...they can probably start you down the path of getting this stuff into the right hands.
