For the best experience, use headphones and enjoy the incredible and satisfying ASMR sounds of the movie Phantom Thread, without music, just pure raw audio.

Film Synopsis:
Set in the glamour of the 1950's post-war London, renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his sister Cyril (Lesley Manville) are at the center of the British fashion, dressing royalty, movie stars, heiresses, socialites, debutants and dames with the distinct style of The House of Woodcock. Women come and go through Woodcock's life until he comes across a young, strong-willed woman, Alma (Vicky Krieps), who soon becomes a fixture in his life as his muse and lover. Once controlled and planned, he finds his carefully tailored life disrupted by the scariest curse of all…love.

Sound crew absolutely smashed it. Not usually a fan of dramas but phantom thread is pure gold.

This is why i like older movies with the mics that pick up footsteps and clothes moving. I love in a western when someone walks across a wooden floor lol.

sound design is something so ridiculously underrated in film. any little sound in a movie, from the unfolding of clothes to the sliding of a business card, ALL has to be picked up by microphones, mixed in, (sometimes foleyed), and have to convey the tone & match the direction of the film. movies like this work WONDERS with it, and im not surprised to see this movie used for ASMR as, in some ways, that feeling you feel from the sound design is INTENTIONAL.

I'm super happy about this because it means that studios now get how popular unintentional ASMR is and possibly will produce ASMR content in the future. I'd definitely pay for ASMR feature films

this distributor knows what the people WANT!!

I saw this movie in theaters and I 100% fell asleep during…now I think I know why. It’s beautifully shot and acted but the audio is so crisp that the ASMR knocked me out. I should probably try to watch again😅

11 years ago, I never would’ve thought a studio would release an ASMR video- we came a long way y’all!

Hard to believe he’s Daniel Plainview and Bill The Butcher. One of the most brilliant actors to grace the screen.
  • I didn’t realize this was from the actual studio’s YouTube channel 🙌🏻 massive respect. This lit my brain up with tingles and also I have a movie I want to watch now

I love that they removed the music 🎶 But that is the dedication needed for a well deserved compilation. 😊

Made in france ASMR is the one channel on youtube that has film quality scenes like this... It's great that studios are finally giving some love to the asmr genre but I'm always down to support lesser known content creators that deserve it.

I also like the 1 hour loop of Phantom Thread ASMR but I'm glad we now have this version with more ASMR-content from the movie ♥
  • @r.p.9021
I listen to the Phantom Thread ASMR 1 hr. loop frequently to fall asleep to. Works every time!
  • For anyone looking for more of this type of stuff just pay attention to a movies sound mixing/editing. Lots of movies carry great satisfying sound design and most people overlook it. On the top of my head some great films that have amazing sound are call me by your name, Roma, and portrait of a lady on fire.

I literally go back and watch parts of the movie just for the asmr. This is all I've ever wanted haha
