Eden Erica Espinosa is an american singer and stage actress who is best known for her performances as Elphaba for the Broadway musical "Wicked". She also played "Rent", "Brooklyn the Musical" and many others Broadway produtions. As a great stage singer, Eden has a great belting range, but sometimes she sounds strained. About her vocal type, I really not sure. Her lower range is good, but she brights in high notes. What do you think?

I think she probably started as a lower placed heavier soprano, but through the years her voice has matured into a strong higher placed mezzo. After all, she said that her voice sits better higher which is why she would opt up in Wicked.
