If Russo had never left WWE for WCW or anywhere else, he'd still have a decent reputation with most fans. He really exposed himself in WCW.

The WCW world heavyweight title died that night when David Arquette won it.

Well-made video! Love that you are using audio clips, so everyone can hear about that period of time straight from the people that were there. Keep it going :)

Came across this video by surprise... And, i must say this was well done. You've knocked this out of the ballpark good sir.

I’m glad you covered wcw in late 2000 & said how it was actually a good product near the end. I remember how much things improved when Jonny Ace was in put in charge. It was starting to look and feel more like the edgy wwf product at the time. It was a shame as it was too little too late so most fans would never realise they turned things around. I would’ve loved to see what would’ve happened if wcw was able to continue longer (albeit, running it like a sustainable business, like they started to). I really think they could’ve improved their ratings and been competitive again. Maybe even moving their show to Thursday.
  • 2000 was a Bad Year for World Championship Wrestling 2000 was an AMAZING Year for WWE 2000 was a so so year for ECW
  • Can you imagine actors in the middle of a movie scene, stoping and going hey guys, everything you just watched isn’t real, there’s a guy behind the camera telling me what to do, that guy that exploded on the last scene isn’t really dead, we’re just actors…. Vince Russo basically did that everytime he came out with a microphone

I actually enjoyed Hogan coming back from Feb-April because for once, he felt like the 80s Hogan. Not wcw hogan. But it was definitely clinging to the smallest thing possible to actually enjoy what was happening. I stopped watching wcw after bash at the beach, couldn't take how disrespectful was to Hogan and the overall tone of the product since he was involved in October of 99

5:57 brother I ate some bad mescaline right before they filmed this. I thought the fence was Andre the giant.

Millionaire's Club vs New Blood had so much potential. I always thought it was weird that they were heels though considering they were young underpaid, undervalued guys.
  • I did just get a new old stock black WCW shirt that has the red invasion logo. I always wanted one.

Great video Deserves more views from marks.

I think hogan was on point by stating the obvious about Russo sent by McMahon to kill WCW. They really sucked that year (2000) I remember like if it was yesterday! No zest
  • 5:57 Legend has it that Hogan said Luger so much that he became a new Pokemon for the new DLC for Scarlet and Violet
  • 4:20. Completely wrong. Sullivan was more than willing to do business with Benoit. HE BUT THE BELT ON HIM. How much more could he do?
  • @maureenreid13
when russo made those remarks about him and bishoff being forced to work together being a bad idea those were some of the smartest remarks i ever heard him make.
