To me, the most important part of this scene was not included, which was just before what you see here, the doctor tells Alicia Nash that he is only going to get worse, then John Nash hears the car doors thinking Alicia left. The memorable part is when Alicia enters the room and John realizes that something extraordinary is possible, he is now in the presence of true love, something that even the luckiest, richest, successful and powerful people in the world desire but can't find.
