From: “It’s Tony Time” 💪 To: “It’s Time Tony” 😔

Tony shaking his head like a confused dying animal vs Gaethje is one of the most brutal moments in the history of MMA
  • The Gaethje fight being at an empty apex made the sounds borderline sickening by the end of the fight.
  • "Oh my goodness" -Joe remarks as Justin permantly changes Tony

Tony’s 12-fight winning streak began following his loss in 2012, to none other than Michael Johnson
  • This video hurts me as badly as Chandler punting Tony's head off of his shoulders hurt Ferguson.

The craziest part about the Gaethje v Tony how it ended…no knockout no submission everyone just kind of recognized Tony was done. With context watching it back it’s so tough/sad knowing Tony spent his last right there.

Looking back at his career Tony really was never defensively sound. He got rocked multiple times but was young and wild enough to bounce around and make the recovery. Not to mention none of the opponents had the wherewithal to not chase the finish when they hurt Tony; look at Vannata. Gaethje changed that.

Damn. I just came to the realization that in Tony’s last win ever the crowd boo’d him cause of the shot on cerrone after the bell. That’s tragic bro.
  • Honestly Toney had so many close calls in his 12 fight win streak. It just all caught up at once. After seeing that fight with Kevin Lee I can't imagine a fight with Khabib would have ended well.
  • I think that performance against RDA was his peak. He outclassed and outworked him for the full five.

Lando had so much potential, looked so clean against Tony

Last time we saw the real Tony was in the first round against Chandler. After that head kick he should have called it a career.
  • This reminded me how awesome Josh Thompson was lol. Also Tony hitting Pettis with his own jump off the fence move is typical Tony.
