I had the opposite with aging. When I was in high school, everyone thought I was in my 20s. And now that I'm in my 20s, everyone thinks I'm younger than I am and I get carded all the time. One time I got a free drink at an all ages place because I had gone to the bar to pick up my mom's drink and the bartender thought I was a teenager. And then once she checked my ID, she felt bad for talking to me like I was a child. Also about a decade ago, my friends and I made "stuff backpackers say" to keep entertained on a backpacking trip.
