There is nothing I want more than to see Matty-O win an Elite Series or Major. I might legit have tears in my eyes because this man has given so much to the game and he deserves it.

Have thrown with him a few times in NOLA. Definitely a genuine human. I'll never forget his shot from the long tee at City Park during a morning league round. Completely blind, downhill anny to a raised basket at 430 feet, over OB for 300+ feet, around the entire wooded section... parked against the pyramid. Probably the best shot I have seen here during my 8 years. Roll Tide indeed.

I went to the allstar event in AZ and didn't realize the schedule had changed so all the players were gone or hanging in the parking lot. I was bummed so i went to grab a beer and Matty O was there. I asked before joining and the dude was super genuine. It was a really cool time to kick it with him.

I really never followed disc golf coverage until this year. And with that I discovered Matty O, and I never knew I could be such a huge fan for a player as Matt. I’m seriously pulling for him this year to make something big happen. Let’s will a world title or Pro Bowl Tour championship into existence for the guy

Great video. He also has 100+ Southern National wins that weren't PDGA sanctioned-- most of which came in his first 10 years as a pro. Most southern tournaments were not PDGA sanctioned during that time. His PDGA win total is deceivingly low. He's probably among the winningiest MPO players of all time.

I live in Baton Rouge and am I die hard LSU fan but man Matty O makes a few Roll Tides come creeping unwillingly out of me. God I hope he wins Worlds one year soon.

Everyone likes Matty O! I followed his card at the OTB open live this year! We were all rooting for him! Really exciting player to watch lace it up!!! Five hundred foot air shots, 600+ rollers impressive!!! Smooth as silk!!!

Don't know if he's been asked or even interested. But having Matty O doing commentary during live or post productions would be so good. His takes on anything while watching a round would grow the sport immensely. He would bring it to a new level.
