They aren’t protesters they are picketers.

Kelly Ortberg, new Boeing CEO, receives an annual base salary will be $1.5 million but his bonus and stock award are tied to company performance. If all goes well and the targets are reached, Ortberg will pull in a $3 million bonus and a $17.5 million stock award. Machinists deserve a raise, and their pension restored.

An Allied Universal Police academy wash-out rent-a-cop flashes a gun, and yet we're the ones receiving an email about how to conduct OURSELVES on the picket line? WOW...welcome to dystopia.
-
Lmao a security guard flashed a gun?!?! 😂😂😂 Boeing must be mad theres too many people to assassinate this time!!! 😂

Any corporate management don’t care about the little people who sacrifice so much to just survive . I support the job strike . I too am on job strike . Tired of getting abused !
-
As a former Boeing worker who quite due in part because they took our pension away I really hope they get it back but I just don’t think that will happen. The 40% raise is more likely than a return of the pension

Something that's overlooked or maybe just not mentioned enough about Boeing not having the money to pay us workers is that if they were so far into debt, they would've started cuts a long time ago on all the things they're doing NOW. The hiring freezes, not paying their execs hundreds of thousands cough millions of dollars, first class / business class travel, . . . My point is, if they were trying to save, they would've started some of these things before 30k out of 33k people decided that enough was enough. They're just doing it for the woe is me, the, "Guys, we really don't have the money. Don't you see how we don't have the money? Come back to work with a lesser deal" antics. Then again, the year I've been here, I've seen enough to maybe think the brains in the company really might not have thought about it before it got to this point. The lack of forethought is astounding at times.

Any decrease in C-suite pay to help preserve cash???
-
Will these union workers post what they are making ? And not what a new hire with zero skills makes.
-
This negotiation will be tricky based on the 40% pay increase plus pension demand. Boeing's losses since 2018 are now at $33 billion, and the debt is near $60 billion. There is just no room for both parties to wiggle.
-
No. Keep the strike going. The union needs to show the “MAN” that a ruinous deal that will kill the Company and kills jobs have to go through.
-
International was the problem in the past
-
Please do the full report on that Boeing email. The are halting promotions and bonuses for EXECUTIVES AND MANAGERS. Not their peasant workers!
-
Better pay for better planes, hmmmm, how much more pay so that the doors don’t fall off during a flight. Look for the union label. LOL!
-
these workers look like bums. tbh

Don't forget what happened to the Stellantis employees that picketed.. A few months later, most lost their jobs. If you can afford to live here, then stop voting for people whose policies over tax you.((Policies over parties.)) Remember , the candidate is only the face.. Their policies are what are the lasting results.. Keep voting with your feelings, and you will be right where you are today, upset and sick and tired of being sick and tired.

How much do they make now?
-
screw the IAM
-
Layoff ! Hiring a new people and give the job to homless and military veterans who want 2nd chance
-
These people make way to much, shut all of Boeing down and move it to SC.
