  • That material loooks awesome Ann. We just got back from St Louis:))) Looked at a couple properties. Staying patient, all the best in 2024 Cheers J&C 🌱🤞👍🤜🤛👍👍👍

What a nice worm mom feeding her worms chocolate worm chow!! I like this rotation with a pre harvest on top to dry things out a bit. I may have to give it a try!! Excellent video Ann!! Happy New Year!!🪱🪱🪱

Looks like you've settled in nicely with the processes used to maintain the tower system 👍🏻 Happy New Year!
  • @NanasWorms
Despite really loving my worms, I would fight them over chocolate! Happy new year, Ann. Thank you for all your great educational videos. ~ Sandra
  • Hi Ann, This system looks similar to the Can-O-Worms, but a bit smaller. Great system 👏 Happy New Year 🎊 🍾 🎊
  • @marvinmonaghan
I enjoy your videos. On track and straight to the point 👍

Hey Ann! Wish you, yours worms & your family a happy, prosperous 2024! 🎉 Your DIY tower CFT system is great, and an inspiration for how I manage my pre-made worm tower. Although I only have 3 working trays + leachate collecting tray. Planning on getting at least an additional tray from the seller to make it easier to manage. :) Many thanks for your work! Keep it up! 🪱 -Thomas

I harvest my grow bag and 27 gal tote bins every 4 to 5 months. A lot of variables, temperature, moisture level, number of worms. This winter I have all my worms, except a couple breeder bins in my cold basement. The temp in the bins run between 55F and 60F, not optimal temperatures for red wigglers, but they are doing OK, the temp in my breeder bins in my grow room stay right around 65F.. Previous years I brought all my worms into my 2nd floor grow room, too many worms this year. By the time spring planting was all finished, I had about 10 gallons of castings left over. I started out this fall with around 30 gallons of screened castings. Excited to get my CFT bin going, hoping sometime this week, I keep tweaking it as I build it. Wishing you a healthy and prosperous New Year!!! Stay Well!!!
  • My trays are crazy wet compared to yours. My worms are prolific so I don't see a problem with mine, but the difference between yours and mine is night and day.
  • @MonzGary
Excellent video. Two questions. Why add the worm chow to the top of the pre-harvest tray if you are wanting them to go down 1 level to the feeding tray? Do you think if you waited one more round, fed the feeding tray one more round, would the top tray have had less worms and pieces of unprocessed paper bits?
  • @memprime
I ended up getting an indoor 4 tray system. I put used coffee in a lower bin with bedding but without worms. Some of my used coffee grounds started growing mold, I think. Should I freeze the coffee or do something different? Thank you.
  • @bevkelly2734
I happy new year Ann 🥂 I run bot my worm towers the same as you
  • @memprime
So I had ordered several packages of worms, and based on some feedback from photos that I posted on reddit, it seems I received blue worms as well as red wrigglers. 😢 Should I try to separate the worms, or keep them in the same trays? Thank you.
  • @scrapzwtf
Do you prefer the worm factory over your diy tower? My totes are taking up too much space. And is the worm factory on wheels? Thanks!
