Making a Bow Riser

Published 2015-08-14
This is a build i did last year. I made a high quality riser for a bow for under £20.
It was made with very simple tools that might be in any garage though most i had were blunt or dull.
It was a great build but I will be investing in some better tools from now on.

thank you awesome bow, the riser is my next project, my bro Ray and myself have been learning the art and science of archery, we build a couple of pvc recurve and takedown bows with good success thanks to people like you, keep up the good work you most definitely got skills.

NICE JOB ! (considering the tools you had available) You really have a nice piece there. Be sure to show the bow with the limbs. Thanks for sharing.

Could you please send me the template you used? Your results seemed great and I wish to have the same results.

Nice video, good job. I do not have too many tools also. From where did you get blueprint/draws for this riser? Can you share them? I can't find anything good. What kind of wood was that? Beech ? It came out very nice, beautiful colour.
