This RARE Item Became COMMON In Sea of Thieves. Here's Why.

I remember stacking 4 fotds when a reaper brig started attacking my sloop and I was solo. Then a hacker came out of nowhere on his own ship and gunned down the brig before doing the jack sparrow salute and disappearing. I was able to get 6 more skulls. I had around 10 chest of legends.

I think they should add a new cursed chest in the game called “The Sneaker Chest,” Where it constantly talks to you, giving you tips and tricks in the fantastic pirate game that is sea of thieves.

The Legends Chest has lost its charm not because it's easier to get, not because we have alternatives, but because it's boring. Even before, it was boring, it was incredibly infuriating since it was the only way to level up Athena, in order to find it you had to do a bunch of tasks and you only received one chest which you could easily lose (you wasted your time). Also, the chest itself is not part of any achievements by completing which you can unlock some cool cosmetics (as far as I remember, there is a costume for selling a certain number of chests, and in the Legendary Tavern itself there are not many cool sets of clothes, weapons and ship equipment , most of them are very specific and therefore it makes even less sense to level up Athena). If the Chest of Legends applied effects to players or the ship (for example, the Siren Skull curses the ship and it begins to move slower), then it would be more desirable and respected. Right now we have the Siren's Skull that can deal damage and allow you to breathe underwater, we have the Ashen Lord's Skull that works as a flamethrower, the Wraith Fleet can drop special cannon balls, and the Legends Chest is just a slightly more expensive chest. Therefore, the choice of players is obvious.

I remember getting my athena chest stolen for the first time, i almost broke my keyboard, but now ibarely notice it is gone.

Making a quick fix on your video, early on Athena’s quests didn’t have cargo runs cuz they didn’t exist lol, before it was 2 of those witch we need to catch pigs, chickens and snakes. :)

I can't finish Legendary Gunpowder Plot because NO ONE does FoF and rarely I find people doing FoTD. Skelly forts are finished so quickly I cant sail to them fast enough to ask people if I can finish it. Raid trinkets and SoSS are worth more.

Thing is now adays if you had the choice between a chest of fortune and 3 chest of legends I think most people would probably choose the CoF just because of the cosmetics you get for selling like 20 of them unless you are trying to level up Athena’s fortune which is all the chest of legends in good for at this point

I think it was a good idea Not only did it make getting Athena rep less tedious but also made it more engaging to actually get the rarest chest now

i actually got a chest of fortune during one of my first games from the skeleton fleet world event and then a reapers chest but havent gotten a chest of legends

To revive it just make cool athena cosmetic rewards for selling like 50, I would really like that, and it may revive FoTD and FoF even further

Hey man I’ve looked through your vids and think it would be amazing if you could make a brig hourglass guide, YouTube is lacking even one.

To make it relevant again rare needs to add more commendations that unlock worthwhile cosmetics. The rewards need to be worth the time to grind sort of like the og legendary weapons since they were tough to get but are flex worthy

good video, but heres a small nitpick: rarest chest is the box of mysterious wonders, not CoF (but CoF is the rarest easily obtainable loot)
