Sierra Ferrell | My Opry Debut

Somewhere in the musical universe a thunderous explosion was heard when Sierra stepped into the circle. As Hank Williams motions for silence: “Y’all hush and listen up. This girl can sing.”

I knew it, I just knew people would catch on to her enormous talent. She pays homage to the classics but is so her own thing. Congratulations Opry for getting her too. Have her back soon.

It just fills my heart with joy to see//hear her at the Opry. She is a Queen.

A naturally gifted singer and nothing was ever handed to her. Sierra is the real deal. the world is a better place with a beautiful voice like hers we are priviledged to hear. first Dolly then Allison now Sierra It does'nt get any better than that.

I was at a party here in Nashville several weeks ago. It was soon after finding Sierra’s music and being completely blown away by it. At the party was the current and future head of Nashville CVC. I told them both, twice, to sign you to perform before your star really takes off! They may be too late. I watched your Opry debut with tears in my eyes. Sierra, you are so amazingly good, you and your music are Doc Watson, John Prine, Loretta Lynn, Dolly authentic. Few, if any these days can come close to that. I wish you the best. I would wish you luck but you don’t need it, your talent will take you as far as you want to go!!
