I'm creating my perfect creative space to DIY in and to let my imagination run wild. We are telling you about a huge design mistake we made, but we come up with such a fun and creative SOLUTION! We also go to our favorite salvage yard and dig through the windows and find our favorite vintage windows and make an ENTIRE wall out of vintage windows and it looks SO GOOD! It's such a fun and beautiful DIY, and a really functional DIY for my new creative space! We do so many makeovers and creative projects that sometimes we have design fails, and it's good to be honest about them, so you can come up with creative solutions so get ready for a creative DIY of epic proportions in today's episode!

That large vintage sink would be great in an art studio. You could rinse your brushes and then set them on the drying section to dry.

I love the window and door idea, but you did say the room heats up. I would incorporate heavy curtains on the inside to block out sun when you need to. Either for heat purposes or even for lighting control

An "Accidental Awesome" is what I would call that office space. Because although it was a mistake at first, that window wall looks amazing, and I can't wait to see that room finished.

I’ve enjoyed hearing about your plans for your office space. You can admit a mistake, though remember that you were fairly new to Hawaii & the geckos when you designed that space. You know yourself and your needs. I’m glad that you’re keeping that room for the foreseeable future. I love it.

i would say that u could maybe put a roller blinds inside the windows wall in order to cancel out the sunset lights.. and also, u can also use a glass and cut it into the shape of ur table so that it'll be smooth and not have holes but still getting the original look..

The preview of the desk being too tall for Kate in her shmol chair absolutely killed me because I always have the opposite problem!!🤣🤣🤣 Every desk is too short and I end up with really painful shoulder and back flare ups after sitting down for only a few minutes🥲

It’s so crazy seeing moon as big as he is now, I feel like Kate was juuust posting moon from every month he was born and decorating the nursery.. where has the time gone 😭

I would love a podcast. Love the window wall but a shade is probably going to be a good investment because if it gets western Sun it will heat up. Even if you do have AC and keeping the shades down helps so much.
