Hey. I’m a guy. I don’t have long hair. But I came here to learn how to do this because I saw a very touching video of a school bus driver who found out a students mother died and she starting braiding the girls hair. This is awesome video. Thanks for sharing.

  • I've just turned 47 years old and this is a sad fact! Listen up to anyone who passes by. I learned to do a regular braid and a French braid, both on the same weekend. I was 6 years old! No joke! I rode horses and took lessons from an English riding instructor starting when I was 6 years old for 4 years. I ended up riding hunter-jumper going at the tallest jumps that were around 2ft, 3 and 4ft high. The point I was getting at is when we had horse shows to ride in it was our (her students) not our parents, responsibility to have our horses bathed and nipped and tucked and whiskers shaved. That included doing single small sections of plain braid for the horses' ears to their withers. The whole main then after all those little single braids we had to go back to each one and roll the braid under in sections so they ended up looking like tiny little footballs. Then the fun began. I had to stand on a bucket to reach her whole neck, but then came the tail. That always has to be in a tight French Braid from the top of the tail down to the end of the tail itself. Which usually ends as the horse's butt starts to taper into its leg. So I had a lot of experience French braiding on her. But oh my gosh if she took one step either way I had to start all over again because I was too short so the bucket was the only way to reach her and she knew it too. So we had a lot of "start all over moments". To this day I can braid anyone's hair in a room full of people, so that's great and all. But again when I was in third grade my parents had me tested and I was dyslexic. Has ALOT to do with the way our brain takes in data. Especially the fact that a person with dyslexia brain doesn't flip the mirror image correctly. Or at least not like a nondyslexic person's brain does. For the life of me I have tried my whole life to French braid my hair straight down the middle, I've tried parting my hair in the middle and trying one on each side! Nope!!!! Never have I ever been able to French braid my own hair! Everyone else's of course but not my own! But I did get something close while watching this video. It definitely helps to keep the braid itself on the front portion of my head! And watch myself in the mirror as I'm sorting the hair seems to help! 🤷🏼‍♀️ go figure!!! Mirror image SMH! Just figured I'd share.... and that this video got me closer than I've ever been to achieving a French braid anywhere on my head!!! Thanks so much!!!!

  • @TriyanshaB
I have been trying to get this for years and I just never got the hang of it! All my friends have been doing it since middle school! Thank you so much for this, because I really needed help understanding that sectioning. First time I got it! In years! ❤
  • thank you for this video! honestly I've tried so many times just to do this braid and never succeed but when I watched this video today, I've finally learned how to front row braid and it is all thanks to you!❤
  • It’s interesting, I’ve always naturally been really good at updos, techniques and styles but I’ve always been too intimidated/overwhelmed by french braids to try them.. even though I’ve sat and watched many video’s. I always walk away before I start but I’m determined to figure this out. Thanks for your very straightforward tutorial. I’ll check back when I get it right 😭
  • @tanyasaini1178
This is the best ever video i have watched! The way you teach is ❤😍 thanks for sharing 🤗💐
  • @nessyyessy7424
I have looked at tons of videos. Yours is the only only that taught me the French braid! Thank you!
  • @TAEBABY22
Was dying to know how to do it. I thought it was attaching all three strands to three different sections. You have explained it perfectly. Now I don't have to do just 2 pieces of hair swirled and maybe perfect this look. Gorgeous. Thank you ♡
  • @pjmasks7185
