Thanks dude, although my instructor already told me all this, he has quite a temper and I've learned more in these 15 minutes than what he taught me in 2 hours. Cheers.

Moment of silence for those who don’t have a car, but still watched till the end😂😂

Driven manuals for 25 odd years. Still watch this blokes channel cause you can't get too much advice on the fundamental techniques.

I never realised you can hold the clutch at the biting point! I did it by accident today and it was so smooth! Thank you for these vids 😊
  • @insiyar
I had my first driving lesson today (first time in the driver's seat) after only watching these videos and the car didn't stall once while starting or changing gears which according to my dad is an achievement for a learner. He's a tough guy to get any appreciation out of so i must say these videos are awesome!!

small tip about the gas pedal: in most cars, the pressure you need to put on it to get to around 1500RPM is just the weight of your foot as it rests on the pedal.
  • As an american. Thank you for these videos. No learning driving school teach manual here.

Driving with my dad stresses me out, i would love to learn to drive with this man

the last thing i want is car manufacturers watching your video. Quality Dude. Thanks

You are a very clear and easy to understand instructor!! Really breaking things down and explaining. A very underrated teacher!

It's funny how I learned all of this through just driving. When you start becoming familiar with how manual transmissions work these things become instinctive.

For anyone just starting to drive manual car, this is probably one of the videos you should pay close attention to, specifically when changing up gears at 7:10 . I'm going to try to learn the more advanced technique of pausing at the bite point when changing up gears once I'm a bit more confident.

This is gold 🎉 driving to work today was an absolute embarrassment 😅 stalled like 7 times. This already made me more confident for the drive home

“I don’t know if that had come across on camera” nah mate didn’t see a thing. LMAO

Just like how every car is different, people learn differently as well. This guy explains everything perfectly. And that works fine for a lot of people. For me, I just need the basic demo, practice a few times.. and boom! I’m off driving miss daisy to the groceries on a lazy Sunday afternoon. 👍😁

Automatic transmission is really a blessing for a normal lad. Its so easy compared to manual. Come off the brakes to move, press the accelerator to go faster, brake to stop or slow down. Thats literally it. Meanwhile this guy made a 15 mins video on how to drive. Props to you man!
  • Had my first lesson today. And struggled with this. The instructor yelled at me 4 times. Was quite stressful 😑 I've got 3 more lessons this week with 3 different people 😆. Trying to find someone who has lots and lots of patience and balls.

i Desperately needed to hear somebody explain the pedals to me this nice and concisely, and not while I'm driving. i finally feel like i can try driving actually knowing what im doing and be able to practice doing it
