“This could’ve taken out the entire internet” is out of context quote. He was talking about the Linux bug from last year that was caught.
  • @kurtnelle
This is not a normal thing. The implication here is that CrowdStrike sent out an update without properly testing it. That's a DevOps failure.
  • @BNSF39
There was a time when companies and businesses could fall back on manual/analog technologies to keep things running smoothly. At some point in the past 12 years that changed.

My paycheck came in late, thanks stupid internet crash
  • @Bonjour-World
Crowdstrike failed to crash a single Linux or Apple OS based computer system.
  • @A3Kr0n
Everyone affected should sue Crowdstrike. Sue them out of business.
  • Pretty simple....dont use the internutz for your business....get back to basics dudes
  • This is the type of reporter all news media should send out. One that doesn't obviously know the answers to their questions. It make those being interviewed answer in much more open ways.🤔
  • This reveals a lot about people. And how they respond in crisis. And it's very sad. People cannot do what they cannot do. I mean it's a global crisis so like you're not the only one. I understand the frustrations but how there anyone attack the employees for something that's out of their control! ...

    entire Internet? are you kidding
  • @toryallan7967
Was this assisted by enemy action? MCE? Just a Bug? If it was a bug was it a update and to what system? How widespread and how was it distributed?
  • @mmmfun77
