Today we're flying the Bell 407 from Caldwell into Downtown (JRB) to go fly tours.

When I was growing up in Queensland in the 80βs my father had a longranger- I loved going down to Cairns in that- but the best trip ever was when we went up to PNG and he got his hands on another one to fly us from Port Moresby over the top to Popendetta, past Mount Lamington volcano- it was incredible! In hindsight I had a great childhood! π

Every detail is much appreciated as always. Addition of the captions is a really good idea for extra clarification and general info. I could have watched at least the first 5 tours quite easily... π

With only having 15 hrs in a bell helicopter, flying this route would be an absolute dream!! I started out of pocket, but other life choices got in the way and gave up my training years ago. I do miss it so. Awesome video β€

Great to see from heli pov... I flew the river Saturday but up above with ATC at 1500-2000. My videos look like crap compared to this, amazing! ...and fun to see my plane at Nov-Lima ramp as you took off ...and i did my Comm checkride in 677DM as seen in the beginning of the video!

Many thanks for this great flight. 25 years ago i was the second time in new york and took a helicopter sightseeing tour from manhatten downtown helipad. it brings back great memories. i look forward to more great videos. i wish you all the best.

Love the scenery and that landing was buttery smooth. Armchair Microsoft Flight Sim helicopter pilot here, and my setup has a cyclic, collective, and pedals to create a real tactile experience. I've made this Wall Street Heliport landing quite a few times and only went swimming once haha.
